If you are looking to develop the strength of the core, the abs may be a useful exercise as they increase the strength and flexibility of the abdominal muscles. Making abdominals in a tilted bench is more effective than normal abdominals, as there is a higher range of motion. This exercise strengthens your abdominal rectum, or your "six-pack muscle". You can even add weights or adjust the tilt for an additional challenge. Find a tilted bench. This exercise will work better if you have a support bar, or a stand, under which to hook your feet also. Set the angle of descent. You should start with an angle between 30 and 45 degrees. The higher the angle, the harder the seated. Sit on the bench with your knees bent. Your feet should be on the sloping (higher) side of the bench and your head should be on the decayed (lower) side of the bench. Stick your legs under the stand or support bar. Lie down for the upper part of your body to be rejected. Put your hands on your ears or hold the ends of them with the tip of your fingers. Avoid placing your hands behind your neck, as this can cause an injury when your head and neck are pushed too far forward.Arise from the bench bending the waist and hips. Make sure your abs are tight and your back straight. You must get up until the top of your body is completely vertical. Slow down. You must slow down the body until the back of your shoulders touch the bench. Keep your back straight and your abdominal tight. Repeat the number of repetitions you want. Try to do 10 repetitions of this exercise by series. Repeat until you have completed 3 series. Increase the tilt. Increase tilt makes exercise harder. If you have taken the tranquillity to this exercise and you want to challenge yourself, increase the inclination at 5-10 degrees. The bench will have a knob that will allow you to lift and position the top end of the bench even higher. It increases the frequency. If you start doing this exercise once or twice a week, add it to three or four times a week. The more abs you do, the better results you'll see.
