My training system is to do explosive high reps most of the time. In a typical working set, you'll need to do 20, 30, or even 60 repetitions depending on the exercise. In this way, we will accumulate explosiveness week after week and then transfer all that power achieved to your maximum strength.
Can I improve my maximum strength (1RM) in deadlifts, bench press or squats by training with high repetitions? Yeah! And you will see it as soon as you put this system into practice. You've probably heard that to gain strength and hypertrophy you need to work with ranges of 10 to 6 repetitions, right? Well let me tell you that classic bodybuilding routines are not the only way. With our system, we will train with medium and moderate loads moving them as quickly as possible, and we will only use heavy loads at low repetitions in certain periods when we are reaching our peak strength.
